Marissa is a college-aged medium who’s used to helping the lingering dead to move on. But Siris, the spirit of a recently deceased student now haunting their campus, is an unusual ghost. Abnormally animated and surprisingly aware of his surroundings, he presents a unique challenge that captures her attention even before he mentions the strangest part: though a ghost himself, Siris is being haunted. A female entity with many faces, one of which is a skull, who never speaks but always seems to listen, follows him wherever he goes. As Marissa becomes caught up in his efforts to understand ‘her,’ she has to grapple with increasingly complicated feelings for Siris, but he seems to be forming an attachment of his own, and it’s not to Marissa.
